At Lūmen Studios, models aren’t an afterthought — you’re the inspiration.
Nearly all of my creative work over the past few years has been in collaboration with models and designers. I don’t just take portraits — I work with people to create art. It’s not my work. It’s our work. The images we create together are what fuel my passion for fashion photography, and they’re the reason I designed Lūmen Studios the way I did.

Everything I’ve built visually comes from work I’ve done with models at fashion shows (so many at Denver Fashion Week), designer shoots, creative collaborations, and the vibrant ballroom community here in Denver. My entire portfolio is model-driven — and it’s a reflection of the trust, creativity, and connection we build together.

Every Session Is Unique
Before your shoot, we’ll connect — either by phone or in person — to talk through your goals, creative direction, and what you want your portfolio to say. From there, I prep the studio specifically for you. I walk through the space, rearranging furniture, adjusting lighting, and curating props and details based on our conversation. Every shoot is customized. Every image is intentional. Because no two models bring the same energy to the lens.
Lūmen was built to give models the freedom to move, embody, and transform — to create images that elevate their portfolio and reflect their unique style.
A Studio Built for You
After working in other studios around Denver, I noticed a pattern: the dressing rooms were often an afterthought — a bathroom or gear closet at best. I wanted something different. At Lūmen, the dressing room was designed with just as much care as the sets themselves. It’s stocked with sunglasses, scarves, statement jewelry, a few pairs of shoes, and curated pieces you can style into your session. It’s even one of my favorite rooms to shoot in.
Need sound to get in the zone? Lūmen features integrated Sonos speakers throughout the space. Whether it's a moody instrumental, a runway playlist, or your favorite throwback, the right soundtrack can shift the energy of your session in all the right ways.
